Footbridge Awards

The Footbridge Awards are sponsored and organised by Bridge design & engineering magazine. The awards will be presented on July 6^th, 2011. The organizer of this event is Mrs. Helena Russell.

All footbridges completed/open to the public between 1 January 2008 and 31 December 2010 are eligible for entry.

Young Authors Prize

A prize will be awarded to young authors (under 35) for the best paper.

Paweł Hawryszków, PhD, from Wrocław University of Technology has been awarded the Best Young Author Prize for the paper titled "Analysis of dynamical sensitivity and comfort of footbridges", selected by the International Scientific Committee of Footbridge 2011 Conference, from a total of 10 entries.
